Jeff Gulko has ten years of experience in political campaigns, public relations, government administration, homeland security, and intelligence. Jeff has worked on several campaigns and at several federal agencies including The White House, The National Counter-Terrorism Center (NCTC), the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the US Department of Energy (DOE), the US Department of Defense (DOD), and The Supreme Court of the United States.
Jeff most recently served as the National Grassroots Director for Governor Bill Richardson’s Presidential Campaign where he managed the campaign's grassroots program which included ballot access, visibility, letters-to-the-editor, grassroots fundraising and volunteer travel in the forty-six non-early primary states. Jeff was recognized by several national and local media outlets to include three times by US News and World Report.
As a Counter-Terrorism Analyst at the National Counter-Terrorism Center (NCTC), Jeff tracked and analyzed terrorist incidents throughout the world and assisted in the production of the “Global Patterns of Terrorism” report that is used by both the President and Congress. During his tenure at the NCTC, Jeff worked the Directorate of Operations, the Directorate of Intelligence, and the Mission Support Office as an analyst focusing on Counter-Terrorism, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Weapons Proliferation, and as a Special Investigator.
At the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Jeff worked for the Infrastructure Assurance and Protection Directorate as a member of the threat production team responsible for preparing and disseminating bulletins and advisories to state and local governments, law enforcement, and private industry. At both DOD and The Supreme Court of the United States, Jeff served as a Continuity of Operations Analyst and supported the development and implementation of a comprehensive Test, Training, and Exercise (TT&E) program for both institutions.
At the Department of Energy (DOE), Jeff served as Special Assistant to the Secretary of Energy. In this role, Jeff handled sensitive intelligence, political and communications issues for the Secretary and served as the primary liaison between the Secretary and US Embassies throughout the world. Jeff coordinated all logistical issues to include transportation, hospitality, and security.
At The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), Jeff served as Deputy Manager of the White House Athletic Initiative Against Drugs and served as the primary liaison between the White House and professional and amateur sports. Jeff created the National Coachathon Against Drugs, a national effort which included the participation of over 100,000 coaches nationwide. Jeff was recognized by US News and World Report for changing the mindset of the nation and its athletes on this issue.
Jeff is a graduate of The George Washington University and is on the Board of Directors of Project R.I.S.E., a Boston-based nonprofit which educates at-risk youth and prepares them for a college education. Jeff and his wife Gail reside in Boston.
